Margiela for H&M Jeans...aka the updated JNCO

Well I never thought I'd see the day. JNCOs are back, guys. Only now, instead of being worn on skaters, punks and weirdos with chains and glow-in-the-dark stuff, they're disguised as some weird accessible-high-fashion-collab between Maison Martin Margiela (MMM) and H&M. If you ask me that's too many M's for one collaboration.

Anyway - the ultra baggy saggy pant is back - check out 90's JNCO versus 2012's version:

Oh and in case you're wondering: yes I did have JNCOs back in the day, and yes, I'm fairly interested in these totally horrendous H&M ones.

I'm not sure about the MMM/H&M baggies cause they look a bit like she's just found a pair of jeans that are way too big for her and though "no matter, I'll just nip them in at the waist with a safety pin or something". I'd go with the JNCO's any day but it still feel it too early, I'll give it a few years yet before I revisit the ska8er Boi look :)

They look very nice. I don't recall the whole 90's thing. But no matter, however, I am not wearing them low on the hips. The waist will have to be higher. I am also looking for a nice pair of culottes, also with the higher rise waist. I am simply DONE with low rise anything forever.
